这么牛的文章从２００１年开始写, 到昨天才被老子挖掘出来. 还是因为对象经手此人案子的缘故．　

该有为青年年少时混黑社会，后来黑老大犯事，他自己奋不顾身前往顶罪．结果被法官闻出了假象

（判决书附录上的原话引用：you liar, I can smell you when you walk in that door!) . 最后以欺骗+藐视法庭，　以及干扰正常社会秩序等数罪并罚，判入狱４年（正常人才判罚金，这哥们够倒霉的）．在此人入狱期间，警察滥用职权销毁了他的公司已经一切收入来源，　致使其６个月大的女儿严重营养不良，　他老婆也不得不戒酒等等．该人在其博克中对这些警察和当时的最高法官都进行了点名批评．　让我们知道了铁窗外的黑幕种种．　太毒了，　警察法官的黑名单一拉就那么长．．．

推荐原因：看一篇文章至少学4个左右的新词. 而且每看完一篇笔者我都笑的牙疼. 用词造句绝对是北大中文系水平.

《名利场》杂志的内幕：如何众叛亲离

坦率的说，这本书的内容要比你去买十本《与全球顶尖杂志主编对话》要有意思的多！

因为它是在说全球顶尖杂志《名利场》的内幕故事。我个人认为，Vanity Fair译名为《浮华世界》，要比《名利场》更加有趣。

托比·杨（Toby Young）的《如何众叛亲离》（How to Lose Friends and Alienate People）。

同名的电影将会在今年的十月在纽约首映，http://www.mov6.com/title/tt0455538/

和万众瞩目的《欲望都市sex and the city》非常不同，因为再年轻的女人也会老，除非是梦露。再牛逼的牌子也会老，除非你是苹果。 植入式的产品也会跑，可是老百姓对于娱乐的向往不会老，对于一群装逼的明星的八卦的热情不会老。

而这本书就是跑到娱乐工业的核心地带好莱坞，在《名利场》杂志一年一度的奥斯卡派对上面开始讲述他自己的故事。

托比·杨生于1963年；在他的记者生涯中，被许多久负盛名的报纸和杂志开除。

开除他的媒体排名不分先后，其中包括《泰晤士报》《卫报》《独立报》和《名利场》。他目前生活在伦敦。

刚看这本书第一章的译稿的时候，觉得他是英国那种特有的很贱。

托比·杨同学牛津毕业，父亲是一个热心公益事业的知识分子，属于“从优秀到卓越”类型的人物，1978年因为对历届工党政府所作出的贡献而封爵；他的母亲创作过一部获得大奖的小说，是一本教育类杂志的编辑。

出生在这样一个知识分子世家，又受过优秀的高等教育，但是托比·杨最大的爱好是跟在名人的后面跑，而且是不计个人脸面的那种。

用他的话说，他在《名利场》杂志举办的第一次奥斯卡派对上，一看到汤姆·克鲁斯就想跪下去。

但托比·杨至少是坦诚的，他从不掩饰自己对名流的狂热。他说自己那些所谓“鄙视”名人的朋友，看到明星的时候，连额上的头发都会被明星的方向所吸引而翘起来。天堂在托比·杨的心目中，就是能够光着身子和波霸女星安娜·妮科尔·史密斯在钱堆上打滚，而不用产生丝毫的自责。

但不要被表象所迷惑。喜欢名流的人，并不一定就是浅薄的人。

托比·杨专门用了一章，回忆他在80年代在哈佛念书的那一年时间，对于美国当时正流行的政治正确运动进行的反思。

他写道：

"我完全同意布鲁姆的观点，但政治正确最让我惊骇的地方，不是这种信念本身，而是其信奉者所表现出的教条主义。

对于美国人，这已经见怪不怪，但我在学术自由气氛近乎颓废的牛津呆了三年，所以哈佛大学对于异见的不宽容，让我感到震惊。

只要有人不同意新的正统观点，就会自动被贴上“种族主义者”、“男性之上主义者”或者“恐同者”的标签，其后果与麦卡锡时代被贴上“共产主义分子”标签的人所面临的后果一样严重。

结果，没有多少人敢不同意政治正确的信条。

在哈佛，最让人吃惊的事情是这里缺乏真正的学术多样性。

在牛津，从革命的马克思主义到赤裸裸的法西斯主义，每种政治观点都有机会呈现出来。

我在牛津大学布拉斯诺斯学院学习哲学、政治与经济的时候，班上共十名同学的看法主张，比我在哈佛整班学生的看法主张都要多得多。

文化相对论者可能认为，需要向学生呈现各种不同的观点，但在现实中，只有一种观点被接受，那就是文化相对主义。

这一点不像是在一所二十世纪末的美国大学，而更像是在一所十五世纪的西班牙大学。”

当然，这种反思不可能是托比·杨这种人写书的主旨。在反思的间歇，他也穿插着回忆了自己在哈佛的生活。

尤其是——

“尽管不吸烟，但我还是选择了住在可以吸烟的寝室；因为我相信那些抽烟的女生更容易搞到手。

但实际情况并非如此。她们把所有的时间都花在督查寝室里男生的行为上，试图找到性别歧视的征兆。

那些想要和这些“迫害狂”发生性关系的人，必须遵守一项被称为“安提俄克法则”的奇怪法规。

根据这个法规，在诱惑过程中的每个阶段，你都必须获得女人的许可，比如：“能摸你左边的吗，还是你更希望我把手留在你的腰上？”

1980年代在抑制美国校园的乱交行为方面，安提俄克条例可能比艾滋病的流行所起的作用更大。

由于富布莱特奖学金只负担生活费用，所以为了挣学费钱，我成为了艺术与科学研究院的特别研究生（teaching fellow，享受奖学金但需要兼任一定教学任务的学生——译注）。

最后的最后， 看了整本书后， 还是最喜欢这一章， 摘抄如下：

My favorite interviewing story is the time I made the law student totally break down. He was a law review kid, from either Columbia or NYU, I think. He asked me what my favorite thing about the firm was. I told him it was the way everyone was so nice to me after my nervous breakdown. I explained that I'd been in the office for a week straight, doing due diligence on a really important case, as a first-year associate, and the partner I was working for came in and just started screaming at me, throwing things, telling me he was going to throw me right through the window if I didn't get my act together and start earning my salary. So I started crying, and he took the picture frame from my desk, and slammed it into the ground, and glass went everywhere, and I just lost it, and had to be sent away to the hospital to recover for a few days. But when I got back, I explained, everyone was really nice about it. They only made me work 6 days that week, and even let me grab a quick lunch that Friday. So I could tell this kid didn't want to believe anything I was saying, but I kept a straight face through it all. And he asked if I was telling the truth, and I told him I could show him the picture frame to prove it -- that I had the broken picture frame in my drawer, all this time. And I reached for the drawer, to open it, and he quickly said of course he believed me, and wanted to know if things were really that bad. I was the last interview before he went out to lunch with two associates, and when they filed their reports they said he was a mess, couldn't stop shaking and fidgeting, asked all these lifestyle questions, and went to the bathroom right after the main course, and they thought he might have vomited it all up. This is power. Making law students vomit. This is why I like being a lawyer.

2004年的5月31号, 交大红果园新开了欧洲杯版.

接下来的一个月, 我每天都要在上面水好几百篇(因为毕业论文还没有眉目, 不敢太嚣张), 因此认识了很多很多人. 再然后就开始了成天成天彻夜不休的在酒吧看直播, 看完等到早上6点19楼开门后奔回宿舍打开电脑继续水. 那一个月每天无所事事就等着毕业, 我还减了几公斤, 不知道和灌水有没有关系. 除了瘦身突出, 还练就了盲打, 也算是小有收获吧. 遗憾的是, 葡萄牙和希腊决赛的时候我正在飞往伦敦的飞机上, 没有亲眼目睹雷哈格尔展示肖申克般的仰天长啸(同样的原因还错过了温网男单决赛).

那一个月(以及之前的十几年)我每天都会写日记, 比如今天看了哪一场, 裁判操不操蛋, 谁谁谁没好好踢, 谁谁说米兰是垃圾, 我想揣死他, 三食堂的盖饭又他妈咸了, 在澡堂才洗了3分钟怎么就下了一块钱, 土建的一个女生在单杠上一次可以翻50多个等等等等.

转眼之间, 真的就是一转眼, 4年就这么过去了. And I havent aged a day! 一起看球的兄弟们各奔东西, 断了联系. (WINDER同学革命到沙特去了, 不知道是在卖手机还是修电脑..) 现在看球不用倒时差,反而觉得没有什么意思, 虽然自己看也很起劲, 想骂谁就骂谁. 还是非常想念那种大家集体围攻一个人的场景 (比如当年我单打独斗支持德国, 差点没让嘲笑致死), 完全没有恶意,但是绝对要在声势上占优, 好象谁喊的口号响, 谁支持的球队就能赢一样.

忽然想起来那一个月吃了西瓜无数， 比军训时候还猛......作为一个女生, 瀑布汗.....

有点激动, 不知道说什么好了. winder, midea, niu ,975014, allul,ben.........., 希望你们现在也还有4年前那般的心情, 希望大家都能好好欣赏今年的欧洲杯.

操, 说到今年的比赛, 到现在为止(瑞典正和希腊踢呢, 2比0了已经)看了全部第一轮小组赛, 还没有什么激动人心的时刻. 唯一让我念念不忘的是昨晚荷兰对意大利的比赛. 范尼的那一粒怎么能算是进球呢? 好吧, 主裁判事后狡辩说当时panucci还算是在场上所以范尼没有越位. 操! 还有没有王法? P当时躺倒在地以近残废, 怎么能要求他在第一时间马上站起来示意裁判要求出场? 又不是鞋带开了或者是裤子扯了!!! 而且他当时在球门后一万公里远的地方, 怎么能牵强的说他还在场上? 最让我气不过的是, 主裁判没有会意边裁看是否越位, 在连心中有鬼的范尼自己都扭头看边裁的情况下, 就直接判定进球有效!!! 作为有最终和最高解释权的主裁判, 明知判决下了就不能更改还这么武断, 真想冲到电视里扯着丫脸上甩大耳瓜子!!!

结果意大利的选手们自信心受挫以0比3败下阵来. 太让我痛心了.

最后, 法国队也太烂了吧, 看着还不如我们中国队. 今天在william hills买了50块的荷兰, 今年他们踢的太好了, 仿佛又回到了克鲁伊夫11前锋的时代.  有巴斯腾那么英俊的脸， 轮也轮到荷兰赢了. 我就等着拿钱好了.   想不到各大赌场赔率最小的都压了西班牙, 为什么呢? 正在我百思不得其解的时候, 今天晚上西班牙对俄罗斯的比赛中, 维拉上演hat trick.......

1．  刚看了Britain’s got talent （我就是个俗人， 这种电视选秀是要追着看的）。 今年的决赛水平明显要好于去年。去年好象只有Paul Potts和 Connie有点决赛的样子，今年的牛人呢, 一只手都数不来。 但是最后的冠军授予
George Sampson有点出乎意料。 He is good but not that good. 在我看来，
the signature ，Andrew Johnston 和faryl smith都非常牛都应该赢， 可惜手机短信量上不去。。。。。。我投给了the signature， 忠实的MJ范。

2．  Sex and the city.  可能是之前太过宏大的宣传， 当坐在电影院里准备激动到死的时候， 才发现好多情节已经看过了。 至于他俩结婚了没有呢？ 自己去看好了。不要抱太大希望就对了。

3．  Indiana Jones. 怎么说呢？ 我们这一代中国长大的小孩好象对IJ 没有那么大的感情吧。 相反我到是喜欢他在Air Force One 里的总统形象或者6天7夜的那个第三者也行。 电影院里的好多人都是cos好了才进厅的。 对于我来说，除了 LeBauof，就当是一个新出的动作片看好了。

4．Harold & Kumar  2。开心的不得了。 几年前看第一集的时候就几乎笑晕过去， 非常喜欢KUMAR。 他在van wilder里简直酷到不行，高级知识分子没有办法。对 HAROLD的印象， 只有美国派了吧。 没看过很多。 哎呀， 人生这么痛苦，Harold & Kumar就用来救命好了。

最近一个月除了吃饭上厕所上班上学, 每天花在YOUTUBE上的时间大概有20个小时. 这样下去不行啊同学!!! 说到UTUBE呢， 下午看了一个号称是GH3狂人的傻B， 直接到333k at 100% 。靠， 老子还以为他有多牛B， 一看吉他都没有插电源， pull your head out of the ass you cocksucker!!

晚上吃饭的时候看CH4, 中国驻英大使傅莹女士就缅甸受灾问题接受JON SNOW 的访问. 但是有99%的时间都在谈奥运火炬接力(因为今天火炬到珠穆郎玛了), 西藏没有人权等敏感话题. 我自己觉得傅莹说的挺好的. 比如那个我们得先吃饱了才能和西方比人权的段子, 不卑不亢很有力量. 挺长志气的. 这么长时间, 应该有个说法了.  就是有点驼背. 穿的也行. 挺好. 应该上CH4的网站再看几遍.

6月, 还有比去看Red Hot Chili Peppers更血脉臾张的事情么?

还是6月, 欧锦赛, 在家看电视好了.

7月, 来英国后的第2个学位拿下. 还是commendation, 知足了.

还是7月, T in the park. 去年的时候丢了一只鞋 (不是一双).

8月, 奥运会, 继续看电视.

9月, 巴西.

我最崇拜的老师之一威廉姆克雷格先生今天最后一次看了我的报告并且给了很积极的评语还趁机勉励我, 这个夏天他就要离开大学转而去安永拿230K的年薪了. 之前我还以为安永这样的地方只要会计呢. 土人啊．．

告别的时候, 老师送我一句话:　MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU．　我说谢谢谢谢，星球大战我很爱看，　我知道您是让我加油刚吧雷！

克雷格说，　no no, 我知道５月４号是你们的青年节，　你还算是青年吧，　So, May the 4th be with you.

说完，老师以一个夕阳武士式的转身消失在教工食堂里．．．．

昨天晚上终于有勇气看了已经积灰成尺的fracture和 meet joe black, 自我克服长久以来的恐汉尼拔症.  虽然片中的霍普金斯爵士看起来最少也有100岁, 已经非常垂暮将死, 我还是不敢正视食人魔的双眼.

ANYWAY, fracture是一部非常好的普法电影. 遵循美国刑事案件审理规则和过程, 悬念迭起, 对白精彩, 还有床戏 (DVD版). 观众朋友们至少可以学到一罪不可两判(double jeopardy) 等基本常识. 唯一的不足就是结尾部分很粗糙. 整部影片99%的时间在讲结果, 我们就非常期待原因真相到底是怎么回事情, 很便泌啊. 最后5分钟真相揭晓, 编的破绽百出, 前戏巨多巨强但是没有高潮, 非常不爽. 不过演员很厉害, Ryan Gosling很牛B, 声线直逼Paul Walker, 有前途有前途. IMDB给的分也高.

meet joe black呢, 感觉就是长. 片子看到一半我就睡死过去了. 早上6点起来喝水发现还在放演职员字幕. 瀑布汗啊.

以后我也要走学术路线

总感觉在英国没有华人律师 (本文中的华人特指老孙这样先过4级再GT过来的, BBC不算). 即便有, 也是在港澳所里专门办移民啊签证啊等的. 目前我知道的和我一组的只有考文垂女大爷一人. 在伦敦有无数中国学生在四大的HEADQUATER或者大摩, 美林, HSBC, 荷/法/英/皇家苏格兰银行里遮风挡雨. 很少或没有听说在magic circle里有从中国来的. 这到底是为什么?

我当然知道原因. LLB或者GDL每年13K 的学费, LPC结束后拿不到合同的绝望, 对法语和拉丁文的要求等等.  有的时候我也问自己还在瞎JB坚持什么, NO ANSWER.

呵呵, 也没有那么绝望. 可能是对最近一直在看的REVENUE很头疼吧. CGT, INCOME TAX 和VAT听起来很简单啊, HMRC的PAPER怎么就那么难呢? 我去问老师, 老师问我看过 25TH EDN 的PRINCIPLE么? 我说没有. 老师说那你还搞个P啊, 当然看不懂了.

不要混淆, 我们做税是不和数字打交道的. 税法的宗旨是教人如何理性的交税和逃税. 副作用就是把人活或看死. 点解了么?

恩, 以后要更努力的学习, 争取像我的税法大牛老师那样能买到私人飞机.

不久前去看了meet the Spartans，近五六年来看过的最烂TOP 1。所有的包袱情节都极其明显，很没有搞头。 最大的失败点是作为一部搞笑片， 电影本身非常不好笑（or is that just me?）。 据说在美国票房很好， 但那是美利坚的国民欣赏水平。我是星期5晚上8点去看的， 这个钟点是每周电影院的黄金时间。我所在的screen是一个230人的大厅， 但那晚连我在内也只有8名观众而已。这样的纪录都可以和vantage point相比了。 为什么老子经常去赶这种场？

变形金刚2明年暑假才上线， ORANGE的广告里已经在恶搞了，不是特别好笑， 还行吧。

9号晚上去看了21的PREVIEW，激动的不行。 今天是全英公映日， 又去看了一遍， 还是非常激动。 我最欣赏最喜欢聪明的人， 21演的就是一堆天才。

影片内容就跳过了，可能很多同学还没有看。虽然有诸如Kevin Spacey 和Kate Bosworth 等大明星，但是老实讲呢，赌场电影系列里，21绝对连名次都没有。我说过了， 影片是关于天才的， 看完后有非常强烈的好好学习欲望。

电影散场后听到有很多白人在讨论电影里的打牌细节，很多男同学都表示看不懂。虽然我只是大学4级水平，但是完全明白电影展示的牌技， 自我感觉很牛B啊。

21 is a film adaptation of the book Bringing Down the House , by Ben Mezrich – which itself is a true story of a group of MIT Card Counters and the blackjack team. The film stars many big name actors, including Kevin Spacey, Jim sturgess, Kate Bosworth and Laurence Fishburne

The main character in the book is Kevin Lewis, who graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. Lewis was recruited into the MIT Blackjack Team in 1993 by Steve Fisher and Andre Martinez, two of the top players in the team. The film version is not totally faithful to the book, but tells a similar story of the students who trained to become expert card counters, and went on to win millions in Vegas casinos.

21 was filmed in Las Vegas, with many scenes filmed in actual casinos such as the Red Rock Casino Restort. Filming took a long time, as many scenes, such as blackjack hands, needed to be captured from several angles and repeated several times.

The film differs from the book in several ways – including the choice to set the film in a slightly different era, and use an all white cast – many of the team members involved in the actual MIT blackjack team were American-Asian. This casting choice has caused some controversy, however the on-screen chemistry of the cast that was chosen for the film means that it is still interesting viewing.

The story has a 'Hollywood touch' to it, with a little more glamour and some different cultural references and innuendos. The makers wanted to keep the same feel as the book, but having set the film in a different era, certain things needed to be changed to keep them relevant to that era.

There is a lot of similarity between 21 and an older Canadian film called 'Last Casino' – the Canadian film is not as well known, but many people feel that the films are very similar, as Last Casino was inspired by Bringing Down The House.

Ben Campbell, the character played by Jim Sturgess is based on a real person – Jeffrey Ma – a water-polo playing MIT fraternity member who went on to co-found a stock-trading like sports site called Protrade. During his active blackjack playing days he was banned from most casinos, and even now runs in to problems attempting to play at newly opened casinos. Ben Mezrich, in a recent interview, said that when he and Ma went to play at 'The Playboy Club' in Vegas he only got to play three hands before security guards told him he was not welcome. Apparently when he went in to the casino, and gave his real name 'bells and whistlers practically started flashing in the security room'. Jeff Ma makes a small appearance in the film.

Another character in the film, Jason Fisher, is based on Michael Aponte, who a card counting school – the Blackjack Institute, along with David Irvine – another MIT card counting team member.   The Blackjack institute offers blackjack training seminars and home training sessions, along with books and other merchandise, including training software.

Mickey Rosa is a character that is based on an amalgamation of two real people – the original managers of the MIT team during the early 90s. One of them, Johnny Chang, is a recent Blackjack Hall of Fame inductee. The other is 'Mr M.', also known as J.P. Massar.

Semyon Dukach, a Computer Science student and member of the MIT blackjack team told The Tech – the MIT news journal, about his experiences “At one point I had a casino convinced that I was an arms dealer”, he said relating stories of his high rolling games. The team set up corporations and paid taxes to avoid problems with the IRS. They racked up winnings of around 5 million dollars over a period of two years.

Dukach still plays casually from time to time – he is recognized on sight at most casinos in the country, but can often find a table at hotel casinos – just before the interview with The Tech he had been staying at a South American hotel and won a few thousand dollars playing some casual blackjack. When asked about his techniques, and his time with the team, he said “It definitely wasn't wrong. We were taking money away from casinos.”

Dukach is quite open in his dislike of casinos – pointing out that they spread an illusion that a casual player has a good chance of walking away a winner, when in reality even a good blackjack player in mathematically more likely to be a loser. He dislikes the techniques that casinos employ to keep people gambling – techniques that include keeping gamblers drunk, and even using aromatherapy to make them more relaxed and inclined to gamble. Dukach likened the actions of casinos to date rape, saying 'They get you in there, and you don't remember what happened'.

The MIT Blackjack Team included Andy Block, who was a poker pro in the early 90's, and joined the team at around the same time as Jeff Ma. The team split into two groups – the 'Amphibian' team and the 'Reptile' team. Jeff joined the Reptiles, which was the team that was most focussed on in the book 'Bringing Down the House'. Andy joined the Amphibian team, so does not get mentioned in this particular telling of the MIT Blackjack Team story.

The MIT team were eventually closed down after Griffin Investigations tailed them around the country to try to prove that they were involved in team play. It took years for the company to get enough evidence, but once they did they informed all the major casino companies, making it impossible for the team to continue to operate.

One of their most interesting ventures was a trip to the Mohegan Sun casino just after it opened. The story goes that the first weekend, the 'Amphibians' went to the casino, taking home $250,000. The next weekend, the Reptiles, lead by Kevin Lewis, went to the casino and won $330,000. After that weekend the casino changed how Blackjack hands were dealt. When asked in an interview about the MIT team's winnings, the Vice President of the Mohegan Sun casino was unwilling to comment, except to say that the weekend they visited the casino was the least profitable weekend for Blackjack in the history of the Mohegan Sun casino.

The techniques used by the team were more than just normal card counting – they tracked cards in the discount rack, with different players at the table watching the cards and the shuffle, to direct known cards to create a winning hand, or to bust the dealer. While Mezrich makes the technique seem easy, it actually requires months or years of practice. It is easy to believe that if they can do it, anyone can, especially as Hollywood is glamorising casinos and gambling in so many films these days. The reality, however, is that the team members possessed mathematical skill, keen eyes, and strong nerves. They trained together for a long time, and while their feat could be duplicated, it would take similar practice and patience.

21 is the third film in which Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth have stared together. They have previously worked with each other in Beyond the Sea, and Superman Returns. They will also be working together for the sequel to Superman Returns, which is titled Superman: The Man of Steel.

MIT would not allow filming on the campus, so the scenes in the MIT bar were instead filmed in the Boston University pub across the Charles River. Some other scenes were filmed in the Christian Science Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

As well as the book which this film is based on, Ben Mezrich has written another book on MIT card counting teams – titled 'Busting Vegas: The MIT Whiz Kid Who Brought The Casinos To Their Knees'. This book has been optioned for a movie, but it is unknown when, or if, this will be made. The Busting Vegas book focuses on the Amphibian team, so pro poker player Andy Bloch will be featured quite heavily should the film conversion be made.

The budget for the production of 21 was $75 million. The film was originally scheduled for a summer 2007 release, but the purchase of MGM by Sony meant that a lot of projects were put on hold, including this film. It is now due to be released at the end of March 2008. The soundtrack includes sons such as 'My Mathematical Mind' by Spoon, 'Break on Through (To The Other Side)' by The Doors, and 'Jukebox' by Bent Fabric.

这场耗日已久的被我们当作教科书来学的离婚大案终于在今天有了结果。 英国国民无限爱戴的麦卡特尼爵士依靠不屈不挠的斗志和每小时1000英镑费率的QC最终战胜了木头腿。 对于最后的24M英镑我们大家都是可以接受的。

只是一个中等规模的刑事案子吧. 我老板牛的很, 决心要把谋杀辩成过失杀人. 本来么, 只不过是闯了3个红灯, 外加单行线逆行, 外加警车鸣笛鸣到死也不停, 最后撞死一个活泼可爱的小孩, 怎么就能判人家谋杀呢? 汗啊......我个人觉得按照英国对谋杀的定义, 这个绝对能算一笔了. 哎, 认钱不认罪.

只是初审, 我才有机会作为被告方律师的小弟2出庭. 我的工作就是负责搬运40多斤的卷宗和好好学习经验,还有当老板念到某某条例或某某案件的时候我要及时找到并码放整齐, SO老板可以毫不费力的大声读给法官听.

小弟1是个野心勃勃的年轻人, 他爸爸是QC, 所以该小弟才23岁就爬到我头上去了. 当然, 人家也还是很厉害的. 他的工作是首席律师秘书, 大概就是当老板忘了词或者说混了的时候, 他在旁边提醒和补充. 说了他很厉害, 给老板整理卷宗只用了一个星期吧,我要帮忙还不让. 到最后仅目录就打印了有12, 3页的样子. 牛人也有累的时候呀, 一般牛人会TAKE A NAP 或者洗把脸吃个苹果什么的, 他的自我鼓励办法是MOTIVATION CLAP. 我亲眼见过这位同学在熬了很长时间后, 忽然开始鼓掌, 从慢到快大概要鼓5分钟左右, 加以, YOU CAN DO IT, YOU ARE NOT PUSSY. 我都不知道说什么了. 感动的热泪盈眶.

总之, 虽然是小弟2, 虽然我从来没有想法要考BAR做大律师, 还是非常感谢老板能给我这次机会.

事情的真相是: 我老板极其摆谱, 很多大QC才带一个秘书的.
